AFFILIATE + EARNINGS DISCLOSURE
Last Updated: August 29, 2026
Hey! It’s Evona. 👋
I believe in being transparent about how Hey It’s Evona makes money, especially because a big part of this website is literally documenting my experiments with making money online.
So here’s the deal:
Some of the links, recommendations, reviews, products, services, businesses, and resources I share on HeyItsEvona.com may result in me earning money.
That could be through affiliate commissions, referral fees, sponsorships, paid partnerships, gifted products or experiences, advertising, UGC, product sales, or other forms of compensation.
And because I’m also publicly documenting my attempt to make an extra $10,000 by December 31, 2026, you may see me talk openly about how much money I’m making from some of these things.
This page explains what all of that means.
THE SHORT VERSION
I recommend things I genuinely think are worth sharing.
Sometimes I make money when you use one of my links.
Sometimes a company may pay me, send me something for free, or otherwise compensate me.
When there is a material relationship that needs to be disclosed, I will disclose it.
And when I talk about money I’ve personally made, those are my results — not a promise that you'll make the same amount.
Pretty simple.
Now for the official stuff.
AFFILIATE LINKS
Some links on HeyItsEvona.com are affiliate links.
This means that if you click one of those links and make a purchase or take another qualifying action, I may receive a commission or referral fee.
In most cases, this does not cost you anything extra.
For example, I might tell you about a product I'm obsessed with, link you to where you can buy it, and receive a small commission if you decide to purchase it through that link.
You get the thing you wanted.
I may make a little money.
And that money helps support Hey It’s Evona and all the random experiments happening around here.
Win-win.
Affiliate relationships may include retailers, brands, software companies, marketplaces, travel providers, service providers, affiliate networks, and other companies.
Not every link on HeyItsEvona.com is an affiliate link.
AMAZON ASSOCIATES DISCLOSURE
Hey It’s Evona may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for websites and content creators to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.
As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
If you click an Amazon affiliate link on HeyItsEvona.com and make a qualifying purchase, I may receive a commission from Amazon.
The price you pay is generally not increased because you used my affiliate link.
Amazon controls its own prices, products, availability, shipping, returns, customer service, and other aspects of purchases made through its platform.
DO AFFILIATE COMMISSIONS AFFECT WHAT I RECOMMEND?
My goal is to share things I actually think are useful, interesting, cool, worth buying, worth trying, or otherwise worth knowing about.
Sometimes those things have affiliate programs.
Sometimes they don't.
Obviously, if I'm able to make money from something I was already going to tell you about, I'm probably going to use the affiliate link.
This is a business.
I like making money. 😂
But the existence of an affiliate relationship does not automatically mean I recommend something.
My opinions are my own.
That said, recommendations are inherently subjective.
Something I absolutely love may not be something you love.
Please use your own judgment before purchasing anything based on my recommendation.
SPONSORED CONTENT + PAID PARTNERSHIPS
From time to time, Hey It’s Evona may work with brands, businesses, destinations, restaurants, service providers, creators, retailers, or other companies.
I may receive money or another benefit in exchange for creating or sharing content.
This could include sponsored blog posts, sponsored social media content, paid partnerships, advertisements, brand collaborations, UGC, promotional campaigns, appearances, or other paid relationships.
When content includes a material relationship that requires disclosure, I will make a reasonable effort to clearly disclose that relationship in accordance with applicable requirements.
A company paying me does not mean I am promising that you will love its product or service.
GIFTED PRODUCTS, SERVICES + EXPERIENCES
Sometimes companies may send me products for free or provide complimentary services, meals, travel, experiences, event admission, discounts, or other benefits.
When appropriate or legally required, I will disclose that relationship.
Receiving something for free does not guarantee positive coverage.
I may love it.
I may not.
And if I share an opinion about it, the opinion is still mine.
MY $10K EXPERIMENT
One of the projects I'm currently documenting on Hey It’s Evona is my attempt to make an additional:
$10,000 BY DECEMBER 31, 2026.
I'm experimenting with different ways to make money, including affiliate marketing, Amazon-related opportunities, UGC, print on demand, and whatever else I decide to test along the way.
Part of the point of this experiment is transparency.
I want to share what I try, what works, what doesn't, what completely flops, what I learn, and how much money I actually make.
That means you may see specific dollar amounts, revenue figures, commissions, earnings, screenshots, percentages, results, expenses, or other financial information associated with my experiments.
Here's the really important part:
MY RESULTS ARE MY RESULTS.
Any income, revenue, commissions, profits, sales, conversion rates, traffic, business results, or other financial results I share represent my individual experience during the period being discussed.
They are not a guarantee, promise, prediction, or representation of what you will earn.
They aren't even a guarantee of what I will earn in the future.
One month could be amazing.
The next could be terrible.
Something could work once and never work again.
Something that completely bombs for me could work incredibly well for someone else.
That's entrepreneurship.
I AM NOT PROMISING YOU CAN MAKE $10,000
My $10K experiment is my personal challenge.
It is not a “make $10K” program.
It is not a guarantee that these methods will make you money.
And it is definitely not me saying:
“Do exactly what I did and you'll make $10,000 too!”
Please don't interpret it that way.
There are countless variables involved in making money or building a business, including experience, skills, effort, audience, timing, resources, market conditions, strategy, financial investment, consistency, relationships, luck, and factors none of us can control.
Your experience may be completely different from mine.
REVENUE IS NOT ALWAYS PROFIT
This is another important distinction when talking about money online.
When I share an earnings number, I will try to provide reasonable context about what that number represents.
Depending on the experiment, a number may represent revenue, commissions, gross income, net income, profit, sales, or another financial metric.
Those things are not necessarily the same.
For example, earning $1,000 in revenue does not necessarily mean I put $1,000 in my pocket.
There may be advertising expenses, platform fees, software costs, product costs, contractor expenses, taxes, refunds, transaction fees, or other costs associated with generating that revenue.
When expenses are relevant to understanding an experiment, I may discuss them.
However, Hey It’s Evona should not be treated as formal financial reporting, accounting records, audited financial statements, or tax documentation.
EARNINGS CAN CHANGE
Any earnings or results discussed on HeyItsEvona.com are snapshots of a particular point in time.
Affiliate programs can change their commission structures.
Algorithms change.
Platforms change.
Products disappear.
Accounts grow.
Traffic goes up and down.
Businesses change their terms.
Markets change.
And strategies that work today may not work tomorrow.
For that reason, historical results should never be interpreted as a guarantee of future performance.
PASSIVE INCOME DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN “NO WORK”
You'll probably hear me talk a lot about trying to figure out how to make money while I sleep.
That's one of the biggest things I'm exploring.
But let's be clear about what I mean.
Many things commonly described as “passive income” still require work.
They may require upfront work, ongoing maintenance, content creation, marketing, customer service, optimization, research, updates, or other effort.
When I talk about making money while I sleep, I'm talking about building income streams that have the potential to generate revenue when I'm not actively trading that exact hour for money.
I'm not promising effortless money.
If I ever discover an actual button that prints money while I nap, I'll let you know. 😂
NO FINANCIAL OR BUSINESS ADVICE
Everything I share about money, business, entrepreneurship, affiliate marketing, UGC, content creation, print on demand, passive income, or other income-generating strategies is based on my personal experience, research, opinions, and experiments.
It is provided for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only.
Nothing on HeyItsEvona.com should be considered personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for doing your own research and making your own decisions.
If you're making a significant financial, tax, legal, investment, or business decision, consider consulting an appropriately qualified professional.
PRICES + PRODUCT INFORMATION CAN CHANGE
When I recommend a product or service, I may mention its price, features, availability, discount, promotion, or other details.
That information can change.
Sometimes very quickly.
The third-party retailer or provider controls the final price, availability, terms, shipping, returns, warranties, and other purchase details.
Always check the seller's website for the most current information before making a purchase.
THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS + SERVICES
Unless I specifically say otherwise, I don't manufacture or control the third-party products and services I recommend.
If you purchase something through an affiliate link, your transaction is generally with the retailer or service provider — not Hey It’s Evona.
Questions about shipping, returns, refunds, warranties, subscriptions, cancellations, product safety, or customer service should generally be directed to the company you purchased from.
WHY I'M TELLING YOU ALL OF THIS
Because transparency matters to me.
Hey It’s Evona is partly about letting you see behind the curtain.
I'm not interested in pretending every experiment works.
I'm not interested in showing you a revenue screenshot without context and making you think money magically appeared overnight.
And I'm definitely not interested in pretending I don't make money from a recommendation when I do.
I want you to know when there's a financial relationship.
I want you to understand what the numbers I'm sharing actually mean.
And I want you to be able to decide for yourself whether something I recommend makes sense for you.
Most importantly, I want you to be able to follow this experiment knowing:
I'm going to tell you what happens — not just what makes me look successful.
If something makes $2.17?
I'll tell you.
If something makes $2,000?
I'll tell you.
If I spend 47 hours on something and make absolutely nothing?
I'll probably tell you that too. 😂
Because that's the whole point of this experiment.
